Cooking is one of my great loves in life. Speaking as a scientist, I maintain that cooking is just like organic chemistry except you can eat it. During my 20 years in Los Angeles, I had the good fortune of being exposed to a wide variety of tastes, and I particularly fell in love with Thai food, ( and the spicier the better ).

Graydon's Recipe of the Week:

Endorphin Rush BBQ Sauce

This Barbecue Sauce is the result of about 30 years of intensive, government un-sponsored research and development. You cannot buy sauce this good. Try it on New York Strip steak, chicken, or pork roast!

  • 1 32 oz. bottle of Catsup
  • 1 large bottle Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 jar pickle relish
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tbs. vinegar
  • 1/2 bottle chili powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper ( more if you like ) ( much more if you dare )

Dump ingredients in a large sauce pan. Heat to boiling, then simmer for 30 minutes.
